Hanging with LuLu

Mindy is out of town on vacation with her Mom and Sis-in-law this week, so on Wednesday Eleanor and I spent the day with Lucy to give Josh's mom the day off! My mom was generous enough to come help, as well, just in case we had any hiccups, but we had SO much fun! The girls actually played pretty well together, which honestly, is close to a first... and they both napped well, which was imperative for survival :). Great practice for BR #2.... but ohh--weee, this Momma is tired!!

Eleanor in all of her bed head glory was so excited to have Lucy come and play...
 
 It took Lucy a little while to warm up to Eleanor... no tears, just a little timid!
 
It also doesn't help that Eleanor's idea of getting her attention usually means hitting her or pulling her hair...
 
There were many times that Lucy tried climbing up me to escape... look at Eleanor scoping out her target in the background, baha!
 
Then Dot-Dot did some laundry... and well, BOTH girls wanted to take part. What is it about babies and dryers? They couldn't get enough...
 
And again, Eleanor really wanting Lucy's attention.... at least it was met with no tears or fear as they day went on... Lucy actually played back and often initiated a game of chase!
 
Eleanor obviously won... and decided her prize would be Lucy's bow.
 
Momma said no, but you can tell that Eleanor really didn't care. "Oops - sorry mom"
 
Oh girls, you are both TOO much. I love you little ladies and can't wait to see the women you become... oh the memories we will make! Can't wait until it's Mindy's turn to take E... haha!

If you have ever been through any sort of team tryout, audition, or interview, you know the waiting period can be a little bit stressful.... and well, that gives you an idea of how the hunt for our reception location has been since our engagement. The Sister of Honor...

Its time for our readers to get to know some of our bridal party... and there is no better place to start than with your maid of honor!   For those of you who don't know my younger sister Katie, growing up she was my sidekick, my stage-hand, my monkey that would bang the cymbals if I asked.... basically, if I was the center of attention, she was right there to introduce me, applaud me, or be my partner in crime.   So now as we have both "grown" up, and its time for me to make the biggest decision of my life, it means the world to me that there Katie will be.... right by my side, my-stage hand, making me look better and supporting me as I change my last name once and for all. Crowdsourced Group Gift Guide 2020
