Eleanor wasn't too sure what to think... I think she was confused that the baby wasn't Tripp but was still a baby.... she knew to call him Cousin, though!
 
The Gross kiddos with the next generation! Why BJ and Kristen weren't in the picture? Not sure. Except that BJ was the photographer and Kristen was in the hospital bed.

Seeing as Aunt Kristen was in labor all night, when we got to the hospital they were ZONKED!! So Grandpa and Dot Dot had to entertain Eleanor and Tripp until it was time to meet their cousin.

The new and improved Benny Gross family.... Charlie, they are better with you in it!
We love you Charles Reed!!! We are so excited to have our very first cousin... oh the fun we will all have together!!

If you have ever been through any sort of team tryout, audition, or interview, you know the waiting period can be a little bit stressful.... and well, that gives you an idea of how the hunt for our reception location has been since our engagement. Dallas Museum of Art--who wouldn't want to have their reception here? The Hamon Atrium is absolutely perfect for the bride and groom who like to work with bare bones--slate floors, concrete infrastructure, and a 5 story glass wall with colorful blown glass cascading down. The Sister of Honor...

Its time for our readers to get to know some of our bridal party... and there is no better place to start than with your maid of honor!   For those of you who don't know my younger sister Katie, growing up she was my sidekick, my stage-hand, my monkey that would bang the cymbals if I asked.... basically, if I was the center of attention, she was right there to introduce me, applaud me, or be my partner in crime.   So now as we have both "grown" up, and its time for me to make the biggest decision of my life, it means the world to me that there Katie will be.... right by my side, my-stage hand, making me look better and supporting me as I change my last name once and for all. Crowdsourced Group Gift Guide 2020

Okay, so admittedly I am not a blogger in the sense that I do not actually know what I am doing.... so friends, bear with me - humor me, maybe - as I attempt to simply put all of the amazing ideas that so many people shared with me when I asked about gifts for Tripp, my 9 year old son, this Christmas.  I'll start with this - there are the usual suspects that if they were recommended once, they were recommended a dozen times... and it would come as no surprise, I imagine, that they included all things Lego, Nerf and _______ boards.   But there we tons of other ideas that were honestly new, to me, and I would love to share them with you!
