Registries

So, the rumor when any couple gets married is that registering for gifts will be so much fun.... Not that we are going to negate that idea, but let's be honest... how are two unmarried people, who don't live together, and have NO clue where they will live once they are married supposed to know exactly what their house should look like?? Will the kitchen clash with the living room? or the baths with the bed? Well, keep that disclaimer in mind as you peruse our registries. We LOVE everything we have chosen, and well, we are just assuming that we have great taste! Click on the pictures to find our registries at these stores:

We found plenty of things to fill our house, here! Whether it is tabletop or decor, we had a blast at the ever-faithful Crate and Barrel!

The one stop-shop for platters, bath towels, and random appliances... before the internet made shopping easy, this was a must for Texas bride/groom's whose guests were not in their town, because they are all over the south!


Our china can be found here, an adorable boutique in Highland Park Village! Unfortunately, the picture is not our EXACT china, instead of the cream, it is TEAL with a monogram! But you will get an idea, so enjoy!

If you have ever been through any sort of team tryout, audition, or interview, you know the waiting period can be a little bit stressful.... and well, that gives you an idea of how the hunt for our reception location has been since our engagement. The Sister of Honor...

Its time for our readers to get to know some of our bridal party... and there is no better place to start than with your maid of honor!   For those of you who don't know my younger sister Katie, growing up she was my sidekick, my stage-hand, my monkey that would bang the cymbals if I asked.... basically, if I was the center of attention, she was right there to introduce me, applaud me, or be my partner in crime.   So now as we have both "grown" up, and its time for me to make the biggest decision of my life, it means the world to me that there Katie will be.... right by my side, my-stage hand, making me look better and supporting me as I change my last name once and for all. Crowdsourced Group Gift Guide 2020

Okay, so admittedly I am not a blogger in the sense that I do not actually know what I am doing.... so friends, bear with me - humor me, maybe - as I attempt to simply put all of the amazing ideas that so many people shared with me when I asked about gifts for Tripp, my 9 year old son, this Christmas.  I'll start with this - there are the usual suspects that if they were recommended once, they were recommended a dozen times... and it would come as no surprise, I imagine, that they included all things Lego, Nerf and _______ boards.   But there we tons of other ideas that were honestly new, to me, and I would love to share them with you!
