39 Weeks

So, we made it! Tomorrow we get to meet YOU, little bug! WE CANNOT WAIT!!! In some ways, it feels as though we were just learning about you... in others, it is like, HURRY up and get here already! Today has been such a weird (if we are being honest) day... our last day as a family of 3, our last day with Eleanor as our "only" child, the eve before our Christmas when we will finally meet and welcome you into our family. Even writing these words seems quite surreal to me. It is only appropriate that today is Thanksgiving..... truly a holiday that completely embodies every ounce of my being... I am just so THANKFUL for you, for Eleanor, for daddy and our family. We are my favorite.

BR #2, tomorrow we will find out whether or not you are a boy or a girl, if you favor momma or daddy, if you look anything like your sister.... tomorrow is a milestone in our lives that I cannot wait to reach and we will never look back. We LOVE you and just can't wait to wrap our arms around you.

Today, I took my last belly pic with Auntie Kristen (26 weeks) and your baby boy cousin... can't wait until he gets here too.... so grateful to have our family expanding all around the same time.

If it isn't obvious, this week and especially today we are praying that you have a genuine heart of thanksgiving... that you live life with a THANKFUL, grateful heart for all that the Lord affords you. Life, breath, salvation, provision, friendship, blessings, trials and victories.... all will not only be glorifying to Him, but for your good... and quite frankly, you will have done or earned nothing of your own accord. All that you have and all that you are truly is a gift from God - and we pray that you live your life in the shadow of the cross, with a true perspective of His love for you and THANKFUL for each day that you have on this earth. BR #2, I don't know if you will ever truly fully grasp how much we love you and are THANKFUL that the Lord has blessed us with you... we cannot even put into words the amount of love we have for you, but will spend our days loving you in such a way that it merely gives you a small glimpse of how much your heavenly Father loves you.

See you in the morning, sweet one :).

Romans 8:28

Colossians 3:16
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God."

Psalm 100:3-4
"Know that the LORD, he is God! It is He who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to Him; bless his name!"
