24 Weeks...

Sweet baby Rector, I thoroughly enjoyed my week with you inside... still active as ever, but you aren't causing any additional sickness or soreness like I have been complaining about before! The most noticeable difference to me is how quickly my legs feel like I have run a 10K... I am blaming this on wedding days where I am on my feet all day... because I admit, it is hard for me to sit or stand quickly on Sundays!! (Must be a good workout, eh?!)

BJ and I are both believing that from a very young age you are going to come to know our precious Lord Jesus... it is my heart's desire that as His grace would fall upon your precious life you will respond with an unwavering faith and trust in the gift of salvation, and that your life would be a living testimony of the work of the Holy Spirit living in you.

We pray that you have a heart of LOVE. A heart that not only receives love, but has a lot to give. May you never doubt the overwhelming, unconditional love that our Heavenly Father has for YOU... which extends so much further beyond our greatest comprehension. May you see just a SMALL picture of how great this LOVE is from BJ and I... we promise to LOVE you with our whole hearts here on this earth. In this love, we pray that you understand that love is not always easy, a bed or roses or accommodating... love requires discipline so that you can grow and mature, love requires sacrifice because it does not always mean getting what you think you want or deserve and love, true love, never fails. It is a commitment, a choice, a promise that even while you may not feel like giving or receiving love... you choose to.

May the TRUE definition of LOVE be embedded in your heart and soul from the Giver of life and love, our Savior Jesus. A love that is not self-seeking, but a love that dislocates your heart off our yourself and onto your Father and the world around you as a response to His LOVE FOR YOU...

1 John 4
"Beloved, let us LOVE one another, for LOVE is from God, and whoever LOVES has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not LOVE does not know God, because God is LOVE. In this the LOVE of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through Him. In this is LOVE, not that we have LOVED God, but THAT HE LOVED US AND SENT HIS SON TO BE PROPITIATION FOR OUR SINS. Beloved, if God so LOVED us, we also ought to LOVE one another. No one has ever seen God; if we LOVE one another, God abides in us and his LOVE is perfected in us.
By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus IS the Son of God, God abides in him and he in God. So we have come to know and to believe the LOVE that God has for us. God is LOVE, and whoever abides in LOVE abides in God, and God abides in him. By this is LOVE perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in the world. There is no fear in LOVE, but PERFECT LOVE casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in LOVE. WE LOVE BECAUSE HE FIRST LOVED US. If anyone says, 'I love God', and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not LOVE his brother whom he has seen cannot LOVE God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him: whoever LOVES God must also LOVE his brother."
